You’re probably seeing this bundle mentioned all over the internet today, as the sale opens. I really debated with myself about highlighting it. I mean, I’m a die-hard library user on a book budget, so I wondered if it would be hypocritical to recommend a pricey bundle of e-books.
So, at the risk of irritating you all by being yet another blogger posting about them, I’m sharing about it anyway. Because I bought my own bundle (no freebie here) after deciding it was worth the price.
If you click through to the site, you can see the promotion is claiming an overall value of almost $700, plus the bonus offers. That’s … not really a realistic value to give the bundle though. I can’t imagine anyone who really is interested in every single title included, so no way are you really getting that much out of it.
Instead, as with the last time I bought a bundle, I went through the list of titles and added up how much they were worth to me (hint: it’s not always the listed price), and if that total was worth the bundle price. And that’s how I decided that the bundle was worth it to me.
There are two options for purchase this time: a PDF version at $29.97, and a Kindle version at $39.97. The content is the same, the Kindle version just has special formatting to work more smoothly on Kindles. That bundle also includes PDFs of all the items as well, for easy printing.
If it sounds good to you, grab it soon – it’s only being offered for sale for six days.
Some of the items that helped persuade me to give it a try:
- Sewing School 101: Simple Tips to Get You Stitching by Nicole @ Gidget Goes Home ($11.99) (why I want this right now I don’t know because I DO NOT HAVE TIME to add something else to my plate. But I am so tempted to learn how to sew.)
- Discipleship & Discipline: Practical Parenting Help for the Desperate Mom eCourse by Sally Clarkson and Sarah Mae ($17.99) (I kind of love Sally Clarkson, so of course I want to read this.)
- Healing With God’s Earthly Gifts: Natural and Herbal Remedies by Kate @ Modern Alternative Mama ($7.95) (I’m not that crunchy, but I keep getting more and more so. This book is only available in the bundle, as it won’t be released as a stand-alone title until the fall. So if you want it now, you’ve got to get the bundle.)
- Weekly Homeschool Planner by Jolanthe @ Homeschool Creations ($20.00) (I am addicted to planners, especially ones that are easy to customize).
- The Busy Homeschool Mom’s Guide to Daylight: Managing Your Days Through the Homeschool Years by Heidi @ The Busy Mom ($10.00) (I’ve heard good things about her, but haven’t ever read anything by here. A good chance to rectify that!)
- Monkey See, Monkey Do: A Tutorial to Using PicMonkey with Professional Results by Richele @ Under the Golden Apple Tree ($8.00) (My graphics skills are seriously lacking. Maybe this will help?)
- Feast! Real Food, Reflections, and Simple Living for the Christian Year by Daniel & Haley @ Carrots for Michaelmas ($7.99) (I just mentioned trying to find a book about the liturgical calendar for my family, so even though this one might be focused on food, it’s still sparking my interest.
- Live for Him: A Grace-Filled Look at Planning by Leigh Ann @ Intentional By Grace ($2.99) (I am kind of ridiculous about my love for planning. I’m intrigued by this perspective.)
- Your Retreat: A Guide to Giving Yourself a Personal Planning Day by Erin @ The Humbled Homemaker (I am also intrigued and enthralled by the idea of a personal planning day.)
- Be Thankful: Cultivating Year-Round Thankfulness by Amanda @ The Pelsers ($7.99) (I’m trying to cultivate thankfulness in my kids, so I’m always looking for new ideas on how to do that.)
- The bonus offer for a free pack of Dizolve Laundry Strips for you (and they donate another free pack to food banks.) ($25.98 value.) Even with shipping this is a really good deal – 64 loads of laundry for $3? Awesome.
And, the only reason these didn’t sway me is because I already have them. But they’re really good, and worthwhile items:
- Life Your Way Printables Download Pack by Mandi @ Life Your Way ($7.00)
- Real Food on a Real Budget: How to Eat Healthy for Less by Stephanie @ Keeper of the Home ($18.97)
- The Blog Planning Kit: A System to Maximize Your Blogging Efforts by Kat @ How They Blog ($15.00)
- The Preschool Journey by Angela @ Teaching Mama ($6.99)
- And the bonus offer for Fit2B™ Studio—FREE 2-Month Online Fitness Membership at Fit2B™ Studio. (up to a $20.00 Value. No shipping required.) I already have a membership here and it is an awesome site. So worth trying it (disclaimer: I am slacking on doing anything with it while pregnant, because I am lazy and pukey. It’s still a great site.)
Remember, this bundle is available for 6 days only, from 8 a.m. (EST) on Wednesday, April 23 to 11:59 p.m. (EST) on Monday, April 28th.
