I always love the fresh start that the new year provides, and this is the season when I’ve already begun to look ahead and make plans for what I want to accomplish in the upcoming year. If you’re like me and enjoy tackling improvement projects of all sorts, I’ve got three suggestions for e-books that may help:
It’s not a new ebook, but if you’re at all interested in tackling various home and personal projects in 2013, I highly recommend Tsh Oxenrider’s One Bite at a Time.
Last year I worked my way through the ebook, one project at a time. Some were really successful.
Some were not right for me (at least for this season of life). Some I was delighted to discover that I was already successfully handling.
No matter what the outcome of each particular project, I was really happy to have found such a simple way to make progress on various fronts, and have it all laid out in such an easy-to-follow method. I found it to be well worth the $5 cost. It’s also available as a PDF or Kindle version.

It’s an encouraging and motivating guide to become more disciplined. If you read Crystal’s blog at all, you know that she knows what she’s talking about and speaks from experience. I appreciate her tone and that she’s realistic about what can be accomplished no matter what stage of life you’re in.
The book is based on a blog series she wrote previously, but the content has been expanded so even if you read it there is some new material. That said, if you did read her series before you know what she’s going to say. With this sort of thing however, (for me at least) it’s not always that the knowledge is lacking. It’s that I haven’t put it into practice, so having the material consolidated into one easy to read package helps me avoid any excuses to not follow through. At least that’s the plan; I’ve read the book but have held off on following the program until some my schedule gets back to as normal as it ever is.
It’s available as a PDF for $3.99 or the Kindle version is $4.99.

I’ve read a number of time-management books, and think this one might be my favorite. Andrews is concise and clear. If you’re wanting a streamlined approach to learning how to make the most of your time, this is an ideal ebook.
I love how Andrews focuses on what’s most important in your own life to then set goals that are meaningful to you, and develop a schedule that ensures you accomplish your priorities.
It’s available only as a Kindle version currently, but may be available as a PDF again eventually. Either way, it’s worth the $2.99 price.
